At Cycle Store Zurich, we’re strong advocates for a good bike fit. It makes cycling more comfortable, fun and helps limit injuries.
On top of that, there are quantifiable performance gains to be had from an improved position.

GURU's Virtual Ride™ combines the real-time action of the DFU™ with the integrated Computrainer unit to adjusts resistance to replicate changes in terrain.

GURU DFU FIT - EXISTING BIKE

Who is this for?Road & Gravel cyclists wishing to optimize their position on their existing bike (no Triathlon/MTB).
What’s included?
Assessment of current position and discussion of client’s goals and specific complaints
Cycling-specific assessment of the rider’s mobility, stability, and motor control
Dynamic bike fit performed on GURU DFU
Conventional saddle fitting (without pressure mapping technology)
Cleat fitting on one pair of shoes. Cleat fitting for multiple pairs of shoes available for a time-based surcharge.
Ergonomics training
Adjustment of client’s current bike into new fit position. Adjustments to additional bikes to match new fit specs available for a time-based surcharge.
Fit coordinates supplied to client for further reference
Before and after video and summary of changes made supplied to client
What’s not included?
Materials and parts required to achieve new fit, i.e. cleat wedges, shims, insoles, saddles, stems, etc.
Mechanical adjustments to bike that exceed the two-hour appointment time, such as triathlon and aero road bikes with integrated cockpits and proprietary parts.

GURU DFU FIT - NEW BIKE PURCHASE

Who is this for?Road & Gravel cyclists wishing to optimize their position and receive specific bike recommendations prior to purchasing a new or custom bike (no Triathlon/MTB).
What’s included?
Assessment of current position (if client has an existing bike) and discussion of client’s goals and specific complaints.
Cycling-specific assessment of the rider’s mobility, stability, and motor control
Dynamic bike fit performed on GURU DFU
Conventional saddle fitting (without pressure mapping technology)
Cleat fitting on one pair of shoes. Cleat fitting for multiple pairs of shoes available for a time-based surcharge.
Ergonomics training
Specific new bike recommendations based on fit data, and comparison of pros/cons of each. This includes the exact measurements of every component on the bike, including frame, crank, saddle, seatpost, stem, spacers, handlebar. Unlimited recommendations provided of the brands carried at Cycle Store Zurich, and up to two bike recommendations provided of brands not carried at Cycle Store Zurich upon request. Additional bike recommendations provided at a cost of CHF 35 per bike.

CLEAT FITTING

Who is this for?Cyclists with foot burning or numbness, or foot, achilles, calf, or knee pain.
What’s included?
Assessment of current position and discussion of client’s goals and specific complaints
Cycling-specific lower body assessment of the rider’s mobility, stability, motor control
Adjustment of cleat position with help of necessary equipment (wedges, shims, insoles) of one pair of shoes. Cleat fitting for multiple pairs of shoes available for a time-based surcharge.
